So today I had a quick nip into town, I had just under an hour and had set my self a £20 budget out of my savings to spend, to get something to wear for when I go to London on Sunday :)

I felt like I was on bargain hunt it was really fun :)

After searching the whole of primark and walking round about 5 times, I found this blouse and I absoulutley adore it! For £8 It was love at first sight :)

I just thought it was really sweet and good quality :)

I did not think in a million years, I would come back with a coat! The newlook sale, is amazing I dropped all my "maybe" selection and ran to the till! Its so nice and warm and lovely and was £7 reduced from £64!!

I love the insides, Its all quilted and nice feels like im wearing my fluffy dressing gown!

Super drug have an amazing offer on at the moment, with a huge selection of there skin care half price, I picked up a carmex lip balm in cherry for £1.27 and my long lost soft lips vannilla balm for 91p!

Another thing I spotted was this superdrug tea-tree moisturiser, My bodyshop one is running very low and is around £10, This being a meer £1.49 I thought It was worth a go to see if it compared!!

All in all I spent an amazing £18.67!

All in all I would call that very sucessfull shopping!

Pink, Pink, Pink!

To get back into the swing of things I thought I would share with you my Hair and make-up look of the day :)

I changed a tad few things, New make-up different hairstyle! And clearly, Loving pink that day :) its nice to have a little experiment!

Wow its been awhile

I feel like I have let all my lovely followers down. I really miss blogging and I have finally got the inspiration and time I need to start again. I hope you all had a fantastic summer!

With lots of new and exciting things happening soon im delighted to have my laptop working so I can blog again, And I am again delighted to have a new camera ! They say it comes in threes. Hello broken phone! :(

So many things have changed scince I last posted I qualified as a hairdresser and am now doing an advanced level 3 course, and working as a stylist in a local salon and I am really really enjoying it! I celebrated my 18th birthday (To name a few!)

I have been on a full spending ban, and haven't been on a shopping spree in months! Saving for salon international trip next week (YIPPEEE) I'm sure I'll have lots and lots of exciting things for you! I am sooo looking forward to buying lots of new shiny goodies :D

I've seen posts like these on a few blogs and thought it was perfect, and fun to do :)

How did you first get into make-up?

I suppose I discovered it myself as My mam doesn't wear make-up and nor does my sister, from a young age I always loved those make-up gift sets you would get and would spend hours making over my self and my dolls, as I got older though I started taking pride in my appearance looking at youtube videos and blogs and just figured out my own little routine and started from there.

Did you ever consider taking makeup classes?

Yes, I am really considering becoming a make-up artist alongside my hairdressing.

Have you ever faced criticism from friends or family for your makeup obsession?

Yes, My friends and family always say I own far to much make-up and always telling me I don't need to wear it so much. they don't paticulally wear make-up so they just don't understand and it saddens me that they think make-up is just a waste of money and time, now they have pretty much accepted the fact why shouldn't I spend my money on things that make me happy? Its part of my day to day life and without it I wouldn't be writing this blog now.

Do you like drugstore makeup?

Thats what this whole blog is about, about 99% of my products are drugstore.

Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?

I could but I choose not to As saddened as I am to admit it, I just don't feel confident without the littelist bit of makeup on. Even if im just nipping to the shop i feel highly self conscious!

Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?

Again no, everyone says I look ill when I don't wear make-up, and my skin is in terrible condition at the moment I'd rather have some coverage even if it is just a bit of concealer it makes me feel a hundred times better

What do you think of fake eyelashes?

I love them! I usually keep them for special occasions but they just make such a difference to my look!

What makeup tools do you use in makeup application?

An assortment of make-up brushes, eyelash curlers. (Post coming soon)

Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?

I often just put concealer and foundation over my eyelids, I've used primers and bases before but never noticed a difference!

Base/primer for the face?

I used to use one, but I just don't bother with them anymore really, I didn't find much of a difference. its worth investing in a good moisturizer though.

What is your favorite eye shadow (colour or shade)

Every shade in the sleek storm palette is that cheating?

What type of eyeliner do you prefer?

Gel eyeliner, less hassle and allows you to experiment alot more.

Do you use mineral makeup?

I have a few mineral products, but I hope to use them alot more in the near future.

Do you like colorful shaded of makeup (lipstick, eye shadow) or neutral ones?

I'm much more a fan of neutral colours, but I love a bright lip :)

What is your FAVOURITE lipstick?

Do you use concealer?

I don't rarely use concealer as my foundation pretty much covers it, But if I do I use the ELF all over cover stick, amazing product for a tiny price

Foundation, It is the most important and worth investing in a good foundation.

If you could leave the house using just ONE makeup item, what would you use?

Lip gloss, I feel lost without one in my handbag.

Quality always, I don't care about fancy labels,

I have products that I absoulutley love that cost me

less than £2,those are the products that stand out to me!

Oh what a ELF haul!

As many of you know, (or don't know) ELF reached an amazing 200.000 likes on facebook on Monday and there special surprise offer was an amazing 50% off there WHOLE site! Not that I needed any new make-up or anything I could not resist placing an order!!

I ordered early Tuesday morning, (about 2am) and it came today (Wednesday morning), How amazing is that? got to say there customer service is absoulutley amazing!!

First up was from the basic range, These are £1.50

Hypershine lipgloss in vixen- A sheer red lipgloss.

Plumping lip-gloss in fusia fanatic- a hot pink with gold shimmers,

Luscious liquid lipstick in pretty pink- basically a really pretty pink!

Even though there not the greatest colour pay off, there still really pigmented for the price, not too sticky and smell lovely!

All over cover stick

One of my faverouites All over cover stick in Rosy Beige, A basic essential I love to use this, as it just covers amazingly for the price.

Next are from the Studio line

, these are £3.50 each

Basically just a pressed powder nothing special, This was the lightest one in stock I think it's a bit dark for me but nether the less I needed a new powder it comes in a sleek compact with a sponge and a mirror.

Blush in tickled pink.

a really pale soft pink that just adds a flush to your cheeks, it only contains a few shimmers so its pretty much matte.

Cool Bronzer

Yay- I finally got the bronzer, This one is completely matte I've been wanting a matte bronzer for ages, The colours seem a little dark, so hopefully they all mix together nicely!

High definition powder £6

I've been wanting to try this for ages, But I always put it off but at £3 it would have been rude not to, when swatched it seems to go from powder, to a silky texture, this will be interesting I can't wait to use it!

Mineral lipstick in Nicely nude £3.50

This is proberbley my faverouite purchase, such a pretty colour! feels really moisturizing and extremely pigmented

Although its not very "nicely nude" Its still rather"Nicely pink!"

Lastly, one of there Bamboo brushes £5.50

I've been looking for a brush to apply my sleek contour powder for a while now, so I thought while its half price, why not! Although I was quite shocked at how small the brush itself was it feels soo soft and good quality

Honestly this brush was soo hard to photograph!

I tried to stay realistic and order things I know I'll use and not go crazy and order the whole site, as in reality it might be cheap but the little prices add up!

all in all my order was a mere £15.50, absolute bargain!

Rimmel Lasting finish foundation

I as the majority of the rest of us, am not blessed with "perfect skin" In fact its far from it, so a good foundation for me is an absolute must, as it is the most important base for your make-up.

What it is im looking for in a foundation

Good coverage- Hide all the redness and nasty spots I may have
Light, doesn't feel like i'm wearing a mask!
Natural, Good shades that match me, No orange face/white neck!
Last's pretty much all day.
Affordable in price- ( BUT I don't mind splashing out if neccisery!)

You might be thinking, I live in a dream world here

Having tried and tested many foundations high and low, some good, but the majority not so good. I finally came across one that ticks pretty much all of these, and cost's a small £6.99. Say what?

and the winner is of this blog post is ! (Drum roll please!)

As for the 25 hour claim? who knows, I don't actually wear my make-up for that long, but it's pretty good for staying put all day, without needing any touch ups.

Only down fall is the shades available, although there are only 6, I found one that matched perfectly. I think extremely pale or really dark people would struggle finding a shade, but it's worth a look.

I don't really feel the need to set this foundation day to day, Just a tad powder (cheap as chips cost's less than £2!) on my t-zone and Im ready to go, also I don't rarely need to wear concealer when I use this.

Review- ELF mineral infused face primer

I'm always interested in trying out face primers, after using all of my Gosh velvet touch primer, I found my self on the ELF website wondering what to buy I thought that I would give this ago at only £6.

Product Claims

Transform your face into a flawless and smooth canvas with the mineral Infused Face Primer. Developed to combat excess oil, flaky dryness, enlarged pores and fine lines to result in a natural and youthful looking radiance. This clear multipurpose skin primer will prepare your skin so makeup goes on evenly for a lasting finish.

Packaging

The packaging looks really nice, Its a see through bottle, with the product inside, Meaning that you look like you get a lot more than you think, where in actual fact you only get 15 ml. The pump isn't so great as after a few uses it stopped working wich isn't good!

Texture

The texture of this is quite strange, its really quite greasy and takes awhile to sink into the skin ready for make-up application.

is it a good primer?

Honestly, I wasn't amazed by this, for me it didn't do anything special, after I had applied make-up it looked no different and didn't keep my make-up on for much longer than usual either, Its good in a sense as it seems to re-hydrate my skin abit as it says in the description wich I do like it that is the only good thing I found It also has a really strange smell wich I don't like.

Value for money?

You get 15mls of product, wich isn't alot really. I decided to get this as the Gosh one is double the price, but when I thought about it your getting double the amount with the Gosh one, and its a much better quality product wich I love, So Its not really that much of a bargain in comparison

All in all I doubt I would repurchase this

During the past few months I have accumilated a fair few new products, seen as I haven't done a post like this in a while I thought I would share with you some new products I've been loving lately :)

Heres the happy little stash of products, I finally placed an ELF order, 2 in fact super impressed with the quality of those items!

Healthy Mix foundation

After being stuck in the rut of using the same foundation over and over again, I decided to branch out and try a new one, I saw this one on offer and thought i'd give it a go, its a really nice foundation that leaves you with a nice healthy finish, Lasts all day and has a pretty good coverage, this foundation is really light weight so it really does leave you with a nice healthy glow.

ELF complexion perfection

I love this powder because it just makes my base look so much better, I don't know what it is about this product or the magic behind it, but I do notice a difference when I use this, The colour all mean different this I.E green conteracts redness, some people use the colours sepratley, I personally just swirl my brush into all four and my make-up is set all day. This product is such a bargain at only £3.50

Accesorize blush in Starlet

After being so impressed by the pretty in pink blush I decided to get another of these blushes Starlet is a hot pink with gold flecks running through it, Gives you a lovely pink sheen to the cheeks, I love this brand and definitely want to check out more of there range.

Maybeline gel eyeliner

I was very excited about the release of this product, finally gel eyeliners have hit the high street, I don't wear eyeliner everyday as personally I find it too fiddly but this one is a dream to apply, so easy and quick. This is such an intense black and ones its on its on, this Aint gunna budge during the day.

Soft lips French vanilla lipbalm

After picking this up randomly in Superdrug for £1.83 I believe, I have been obsessed with it. It is such a nice lipbalm and leaves my lips feeling so soft and not to mention the pretty pink packaging and the delicious scent I could sit and smell all day!

ELF all over colour stick,

Although this was a lot darker than I thought it would be, I adore using it as a hint of bold colour to the lips, a really intense pink that is really moisturizing and long lasting and at only £1.50 I think that it is simply amazing!

ELF hyper shine lip gloss in bubblegum

Another of my ELF products, this is such a pretty lip gloss that leaves a hint of soft pink shine to the lips, smells delicious and is fairly long lasting, again at a teeny £1.50 another bargain product!

Happy Easter! :)

The jolly sun has had his hat on alot these past few days, Wich is soo exciting wave hello to summer clothes again!

So yesterday we went for a picnic in the park with the lovely neice and Nephew, wich was lovely and sunny till it started thundering and lightning and we got caught in heavy rain, great typical English weather :)

I love this pretty dress I picked up in the Dorthy Perkins last year for a teeny £5 and waited ever so paitentley through the winter to wear it, so when the sun came out so did this dress!

I love summer pretty dresses, skirts and sandals! Most importantly, actually being able to see your pretty outfit when you go out and not being wrapped up in big coats etc etc!

I paired it with my Primark Brogues , (I practically live in these!) bargain at £8 these just go with everything I love them, I have my eye on a few more of these!

and a vintage bag, wich I love even though its quite old style (intact with a bus pass holder and everything woo!) No idea where this came from.

I also adored this Primark dress looks alot nicer in real life, wich was only £9

Primark is so hit and miss with there sizing the bright pink size 8 version fitted like a glove this one the one I wanted size 8 didn't fit and only had size 20's left :(

wich is strange as there exactly the same dress! sadly bye bye for now! and fingers crossed they re-stock!

I have also re-discovered my love for the 2true cheek & lip tint and have been using this so much lately, see my review here

I love the pink flush that it gives to your cheeks, so nice & natural! Also Im really loving Boujouirs healthy mix foundation review coming soon!

I'm Back with a haul!

Remember me? Its been a while since I last posted life has been pretty hectic lately and a ton of personal problems regarding family, But hopefully things will start looking up soon :)

so I've been trying to persuade my self to save, but doesn't last long till I go shopping and spend all that I've saved whoopsiee!!

I loved these cute little white bow sandals from Primark, these size fives where hidden in the mens section! I was lucky to find them as they where only a few in stock and only had big sizes, so it was meant to be that I found them in my size these where a cheap £6 I love them!

I thought this lonng floral/ gold necklace would be perfect for dressing up plain tops, this was £2.50

I have practically lived in these beige khaki shorts and American style crop top this week, I'm loving the nude colour trend and shorts at the minute, The shorts where £9 and came with a nice brown belt, The top was a complete bargain at only £4

I also bought these plain Spaghetti strap vests which are a basic staple for any wardrobe, these where £1.50 each.

In the recent River Island sale where you got an extra 50% off all sale items I picked up this gorgeous Black dress wich is just a plain dress with a floral dimante pattern to the sleeve this was an absolute bargain at £7.50 Reduced from £39

I picked up to pair of Jeans, The Green ones where from Tk maxx and where only £8 I have wanted a pair of green jeans for ages! and the light blue wash jeans where also £8 from Primark :) Happy days!

In Superdrug I picked up Boujouirs healthy mix foundation, A hairspray from Schwartzkopf (never new thats how you spelt it!) Got 2 be 2 sexy big volume collagen lift effect hairspray (Wow that brand uses some big lines!) and my trusty Aussie shampoo and conditioner wich is currently on offer 2 for £4.99

Lastly but certainly not least I got the Lauren Conrad Style book from The works for £2.99 ive heard so many good things about this book and was such a bargain. also Trevor Sorbie visions of hair from Poundland both very interesting books I shall enjoy reading

well thats the end of my haul :) theres so many lovely things to buy right now I wish I had endless limits of money!

Twice, morning and night but some days im lazy and just use a make-up wipe!

2) What skin type do you have?

Very dry sensitive skin!

3) What is your current facial wash?

No 7 hot cloth cleanser- I absoulutley love this product it is so nice and is just amazing for the price :)

Yes and no, I try to about once every week, but sometimes less.

5) What brand do you use?

Usually use Garnier exfo-brusher face wash and also soap and glory scrub your nose in it both amazing products that do the job well.

Todays little shopping trip- Bargain

So today, I was so very bored, so off I hopped on the bus to Town and did a bit of shopping on my own, I love shopping on my own, its so peaceful and relaxing. I didn't buy much but, what I did buy I am more than happy with

wave hello to my new addition of my family of coats!

Let me just state I did not need another coat, I have way too many :$ but I have always loved this coat when Ive been in newlook, and so very nearly paid the £45 for it a few weeks back! Today there it was the last one reduced to £9 and in my size! It was meant to be how could I say no to such a bargain!!

Heres a little snap of me wearing it not the best of photos but its so comfy and cosy :) and I absoulutley adore the colour! basically I just love this coat!

So yes now in my coat collection I have a Green, a pink, a black, a grey and a blue coat to choose from each day.. obsessed with coats much oh well its nice to have choice!

Lastly I picked up this cream florally top blouse. Im not quite sure how or when I will wear this but it was so cute and only £6 :) There was a few other tops I wanted but sadly non where my size :( seemed they only had bigger sizes left in everything!!

My product repurchases!

We all have those products that we buy over and over again, and just absoulutley love! Thought I would share with you today My top 10! :)

First up My trusty faveroite Foundation & Concealer

Both collection 2000 lasting perfection, I have been using the foundation for ages now, and have not bought another foundation since, I love everything about this foundation, Its got a great coverage, matches my skin perfectly, Lasts all day, and is very cheap!

I must have repurchased this about 6 times now, A few months ago I tried the concealer out, and again super impressed it covers amazingly and is super cheap.

Gosh Darling & Nivea care gloss and shine.

Gosh darling, This was again an amazing 2010 find, by far my faverouite lipstick, it is so versatile and I just love it! This lipstick is always in my make-up bag where ever I go, I went a few weeks without this lipstick and truly felt lost!!

Nivea care gloss and shine Such a lovely gloss/lipbalms that makes my lips super soft, You usually get this in gift sets, so at Christmas I made sure I stocked up yay!

Powder

Rimmel truly have a fantastic range of these powders, I came across these because I needed a new powder, Picked it up for £3.99 and have been buying it ever since, It keeps my make-up looking great all day, and it smells really fresh and clean! I also love their stay matte powder.

Mascara & Eye-liner.

Max Factor false lash effect mascara I cannot express how much I love this, By far the best mascara I have found, I love the formula the packaging, the brush, The way it makes my lashes look just everything :)

Gosh eye-liner black- I'm not usually a big eye-liner fan but I love love love this product, its so soft and so smooth wich makes it apply like a dream!

Okay Okay so this is perfume I know but it still counts right?

Britney spears fantasy is by far my faverouite perfume, this must be my third bottle now? I have used this a good few years now, Love the smell, Packaging Ooh I just love this!

Shampoo and conditioner

Last but not least My faverouite shampoo and conditioner in the world, Aussie luscious long :) Definitely one of the best hair care product brands, Aussie is amazing, They make my hair feel so silky soft and improved the condition of my hair, not to mention they smell amazingly delicious!!

So there we have it, I was quite shocked as to how many products I without fail repurchase!

Lipice Lip balm review and GIVEAWAY! CLOSED

I was contacted a few weeks ago by a company asking if I was interested in doing a review/ giveaway of there lip-ice products on my blog, with it being winter and needing a good lipbalm, I couldn't say no! A few days later my package arrived.

I was sent five different ones, including a mens one.. so they where very genourous.

All of these lip balms claim that they are

Nutrient rich with plant extracts &natural butters.

Effective protection, Contain pro vitamins and contain a SPF 15

Amino acid for skin repair & regeneration.

Hydrates, Moisturises, Smooths, Firms.

Strawberry touch

Although this is Red and looks quite pigmented it is not its pretty much clear with a hint of a sheer pigment. Smells amazing like strawberries, no surprise there eh? Reminds me of being a child again, I loove the smell of this, As soon as I apply this my lips feel so much softer and more moisturised!

Good old original!

This one has deffinetley got to be my faverouite one out of the four, Nothing ever compairs to originals! its simple smells lovely and keeps my lips again moisturised and soft, Great for on the go and prepping your lips before using gloss or lipstick on a morning.

Pink sheen gloss

This is the one that I thought I would love. Its pink and I love pink, But to be honest this one just isn't the one for me, Its a lovely shade of pink, looks lovely on too but is quite a sticky gloss, Apart from that this is a good lip-gloss product and leaves a lovely pink sheen behind.

Q10 Anti wrinkle!

I can't comment on the ant-ageing claims of this product but I can say that this makes a lovely clear gloss and makes a great overnight treatment as It contains Q10 anti-age enzyme effect and Calendula Nut Oil to intensely repair and regenerate. Not sticky at all smells & tastes lovely! (not that I eat this or anything8) Makes your lips just feel really nice, I love the tube applicator and this is a lovely everyday lip gloss for everyday use!

All in all I Highly reccomend these lip balms! My lips are now lovely and soft! No hint of the chapped winter lips I usually have to deal with this time of year!!

All of these lipbalms are suitable for vegetation as they have been approved by the vegetarian Society

My new make-up organisation!

I have been looking for the perfect way to store my adored make-up products as I was bored of my clear poundland draws, and wanted something a little different! When I spotted this in boots I just wanted the box so much! and of course the products inside where lovely, I had been eyeing it up in the store for weeks, but never acctually brought my self to buy it.

Christmas day and there it was under the Christmas tree! I was so surprised!

The products inside where absoulutley lovely and I have allready started enjoying using them. but the box is just something special! I took the bath treats out, and spent a good few hours sorting through my make-up and it turned out like this. I love it!

There are two little draws wich I stored blushes/bronzer in one and lip products in the other, The two big draws I filled one with all my face products and the second all my eye make-up :)

I'm sorry I haven't blogged for a few weeks, Things have been crazy busy with college and life! I hope your all well and keeping warm in this weather! Here in the North East It has been snowing here, For well over a week now! And currently loving life being snowed in! Hows the snow where youse live?

I haven't been out much to take pics, But here are a few :)

It really Is like walking in a winter wonderland, And it shows no sign of stopping any time soon.. The joy!

So this past week.. I have purchased my fair share of things, In this post you will see all the beauty related goodies I bought!

So without further ado!

Aussie- Luscious LONG shampoo and 3 minute miracle.

After ~~needing~~ wanting to try from this brand for a long while. I decided to take advantage of the 2 for £5 offer in the beauty that is Superdrug! So far im impressed but I will save the rest for a review soon! I choose the Lucious long version because well my hair is "Long" so this seemed like the type for me!

Accesorize make-up!

Browsing along the isles of Superdrug again, My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw the new Accesorize make-up line! After reading countless blog posts about this beautiful line, I couldn't resist picking up something.. How can any body resist that beautiful packaging?

So the two I picked up where..

Pretty in Pink merged blusher..

A really pale pink with purple veining running through it, Something different from my usual go to shade of blush.. I was a bit hesitant at first. It looked very sheer and glittery but don't be fooled, on the cheeks it just gives you a perfect light flush of colour I am actually in love with this!

Morocco merged bronzer.

I have wanted a baked bronzer for ages, and I just had to have this, This is the second lightest in the shades I believe but it is just right for me, Gives a perfect sun kissed sheen to your face, Not glittery in the slightest, Another stunning product!

I can see my self becoming best friends with this brand, Beautiful, amazing quality and affordable.. could I want more?

Barry M lip paints!

I've wanted to try out these famous lip paints for ages! So decided to take advantage of the 2 for £7 offer also on in Superdrug!

The magic green lipstick that transforms to a colour to suit you according to the alkaline levels of your lips. After hearing alot of praise about this. I decided to give it a go Lets just say certainly something different. on me a very very bright hot berry pink.. A review will be coming soon

Marshmallow 101

A very very light nude. A bit to nude for my liking.. But after my beloved gosh darling had all gone I thought I'd try this I do like it. But mainly for mix matching and toning down brighter lipsticks!

Whilst browsing Morrisons I picked up these on offer!

Rimmel lash accelerator mascara

You proberbley all know about this mascara by now. Apparently has "lash growth complexes" and make your lashes 117% longer? Well see. But for now I really do like it and my lashes are looking lovely! This is usually £8.99? but everything on the Rimmel stand where under £5 so was a bargain at £4.99!

Perfect finish foundation Collection2000

I love this foundation and used it all up.. so had to repurchase. Another bargain at £3 instead of £5!

Today's Hair and make-up look!

Hello!
First of all. Happy November! This year is flying by O.o

So today, I thought I would do my hair and make-up differently to how I normally do, Even though I wasn't going any where, I thought I would experiment a little to cure my boredom :)

I used all different products to what I normally use, As I was getting into the routine of using the same things every day, So I banned my self from using those, And you know what? I kind of liked it!

My eyes I kept really simple using neutral colours, But completely forgot to take a up close picture silly me!

Products I used.

Revlon Photo ready foundation.

No 7 quick cover conceler

Rimmel duo bronzer.

Make-up academy blush, Shade one, Hot pink!

Gosh effect powder Satin

Boujouirs eye-shadow in tablac Blonde.

Gosh liquid eye-liner in black,

Lash accelerator mascara.

Lips

Barry M- 101 lip paint

and A teeny bit of

Collection 2000 Bubblegum lipstick.

So really a quite "natural look" But I was really happy with how it turned out and just goes to show, that love still remains for those products hidden at the bottom of your draws!

As for my hair.

My hair, I sort of curled it but used a different technique, I can't explain it, But it's sort of messy curls, by twisting the straighteners different ways as you normally "straighten" your hair, I really like the outcome! and took less than 10 minutes to achieve!

I'll do a post/video if you would like to know how to do this easy peasy look!

Primark's prime of your life face primer

I bought this a few weeks back but forgot to post about it, For £3.50 It is really good! Ive been using this everyday and I am genrally impressed!

No 7 Conceler

I used to use this years ago, and loved it, so I've wanted to repurchase it for ages, I finnally took advantage of the £5 no 7 vouchers (LOVE THESE!) If im honest there the only reason I buy no 7!, Any way.. So this only cost £2.75 instead of £7.75 bargain if you ask me!

Revlon colourstay

Another repurchase! I love this foundation I changed the shade and type though this time round my last one was too yellow based for my skin tone.. This one is much better suited for me and also is in normal to dry! £9.99 Superdrug :)

17 pressed powder.

My Rimmel one run out, so I decided to try out a new one this one was £3.49 and I bought it on my boots points, I am not impressed, considering its "natural" wich is the lightest shade you have to apply it so lightly or you look like you've been tangoed. (slight exaggeration) also it sheds like I don't know what, I've had this a week and already hit pan, The messiest "pressed" powder I have used! it gets everywhere..

Garnier pureactive pro brusher wash

This was on offer in superdrug for £4.99 so I decided to give it a try, Its a bit early to say yet but I really do like it!

Another repurchase! I really like these but they smell like the dentist.. they where on offer for £1 :)

I also had a sneaky peak in Lush..

I bought space girl bath ballistic and candy cane bubble bar.. I used space girl and part of candy cane,

But unfortunately my sensitive skin and excezma has all flared up so Looks like no more lush for me, I haven't had any problems for years I used to be allergic to all bath things when I was little, I thought I had grew out of it But I used these and my skin is worse than it has ever been :/ This is actually gutting!! on the other hand I love candy cane! smells AMAZING! I have the rest in my suitcase to make my clothes smell nice for my holiday! Yum

Space girl I hated. It has like red fizzes in it, And it looked like blood! wich wasn't a good experience! and didn't smell very nice.

Asos

I also placed a sneaky little order on asos for some nail polishes!

These asos Nail paints where only £1 each instead of £6 so I bought 5 ;) How cute are the bottles!

Hey lovlies, remember me?

As you have proberbley noticed I haven't been blogging much recently and I haven't been updating much, I am so sorry about that and I feel like I am letting you all down!,

I have been so busy lately what with college and starting my level 2 hairdressing all I seem to do is, Go to college come home eat and sleep, and continue in that pattern all week!, It is so much more hands on which is expected but I didn't expect to be doing cuts and colours on clients allready eeek!!, I know I should make time for my blogging, But honestly it's that bad I've barely been on facebook either.. Shock horror. D:

I am on a spending ban, as Im saving for spending money for when I go to London with college soon!, I went shopping today and didn't buy any thing apart from my college supplies wich included hair clips and a comb!! *Round of applause!*

My make-up routine has totally gone down the drain too, It seems I just use the same things every day, nothing exciting no eye-shadow or eye-liner just the basics! But on another note, My skin is starting to clear so much now, As for the past few weeks I have had such bad break out of spots, Nothing like I usually get much much worse!, and as Im on a spending ban I can't buy no new make-ups! Bad times!

So I'd like to ask you guys what you think I should post about to get back into the swing of blogging? I'm thinking maybe the 30 day tag? would that interest you?, If you have any requests please comment :)!

New foundation by Collection 2000- Perfect finish!

Browsing round the isle of Morrisons, I spotted this little beauty. Collection 2000's new perfect finish foundation, The foundation that I have been using is there lasting finish foundation, Wich is acctually quite amazing, So after such a success the first round I couldn't resist shotting this in my non existent food basket!

I haven't even seen this advertised or even in any other shop but as I was walking past I saw a Morrisons worker lady stacking the shelves and putting up new products and posters on the stand, I looked on-line and this isn't even meant to be on sale till October!! :) This foundation was priced at £4.99 But when I scanned it at the till it came through at £2.99! Bargain!!

Having tried and tested this as soon as I got home, Im impatient like that you see! I was very impressed it transformed my face instantly! as Im currently suffering a breakout of spots all over my face this covered them perfectly!, Like they wherent even there, something I have never found with any foundation!

The bottle is so cute and little too! and looks like lasting finishes baby sister! But they both contain 30ml!

Watch this space! Will this foundation exceed my high expectations well shall just have too see :)

I was meant to be saving; Make up haul!

So last week was my first week back at college, which meant I was 5 minutes distance away from the shops for 4 days.. I'm meant to be saving my money for spending money for our college trip to London next month (Yaaaaaaay my first time there!) But of course, I couldn't resist and damage was done.. as well as some basics from primark the majority of my haul was make-up.. Ops! They where all on offer it was not my fault, Okay maybe a little :)

I think I done quite well though..

Collection 2000 lasting perfection foundation

Ever since I bought this foundation from a blog sale, I have been obsessed with it, Yes I have bought 2 more.. I went to Superdrug first and got the second one in the picture which is in ivory the second lightest shade, This one is really watery and dark for some reason, and the foundation has become separated from the liquid inside if that makes sense, I should have really took it back, you can see from the picture how bad it is! This foundation retails for no more than £6! I got it in Superdrug for £3.99. Then yesterday whilst in Morrison's I spotted the vanilla one which is the lightest shade, on offer for £2.99!!, This one is perfect, consistency and colour match! The colour selection is rubbish for this foundation! that aside, I love this more than my Revlon colour stay.. enough said!

Carrying on with the foundation theme...

I got these from Boyes, Both where under £2 I can't remember the exact amount but I just got the sponges to try as I'm looking for the perfect way to apply my foundation you get loads and they are surprisingly really good! The brush is by The Royal, and I was expecting it to be rubbish quality but it is honestly amazing! Hasn't shed once I'm really quite happy!

Max-factor false lash effect mascara!!!!!!

I have wanted this since like forever! And I finally got it woo from boots on offer for £7.99! it was between this or the new rimmel one, but I've wanted this because you know the famous ole lash blast we can't get here in the UK, this is apparently the next best thing & its twin!, I'm really happy with this though makes my lashes really long :)!

In Tj Hughes they have had model co makeup for a while! Now this is generally a quite expensive brand ranging about £20-£30? don't quote me! and they where selling in Tj Hughes a while back for various prices, Now there all £1.99!!! Amazing!

Most of the shades & products are still available on the website, Just not in these gift sets and different packages :)

this is a repurchase, I bought this around Christmas time? and I was in love with

the nude lipstick in it, and used it all up oh so quickly! This contains three lipstick/lip gloss duos. & black extension mascara! a total bargain for £1.99 The lip glosses and lipsticks are utter amazing!

Contains three lip glosses, that are available on the model co website, strip tease, berry pink and sugar plum, yet again amazing quality and I love the packaging and the little handy mirror on the side :)

Colour box bronze

I love love love this, it is such a nice bronze and really warms up your face :) & The packaging is just beautiful & pink ;)

Luminosity shimmer whip

Ive wanted a shimmer product for ages, so I had to get this, it really is perfect!

I was surprised, all these products from tj huges where sealed up and hadn't been opened, rather than the usual mess you get from there, where it looks like someone's been eating that lipstick and grotty finger prints in your shadows! well done tj huges!!

So exciting news, on Monday I found out that I won DitzyMake-up models own give away, You should all go and follow her blog because it is amazing :) and I received them this morning! How good is that they took less than a day to arrive!:)

ahh I really do love getting post and parcels ;) Haha!

Here are the three polishes that I won, sorry for the bad quality pictures

Im fairly new to the models own brand, I have one that I bought in a river island sale a while back, But other than that It was a brand I was always like hmm, next time im in boots ill pick a few shades, Gets in boots and is totally spoilt by all the choice and leaves empty handed :)

So without further ado! I introduce my 3 new polishes to my ~~rather small~~ sorry I mean Rather big Nail varnish family :)

Purple Grey

(apologies for the terrible rushed nail varnish swatches! oops)

A very werid nail colour but I absoulutley love it! Like the name says, Its a purple-Grey, But to my eyes comes out alot brown ish Its in the group of a mushroom taupe grey colour, But it is so unique and nice, First impression I am loving it :)

Top turquoise

This one I can 100% tell is going to be a faverouite of mine, I love the colour green! its such a lovely bluey green turquoise colour, I am so impressed with the texture of these too, One coat is all you need!

Lilac dream

I love love love this! It reminds me of the barry m lilac one that I love, and wore all summer, But it is more brighter and lilac if you get me! Im rubbish at describing nail varnishes! Sorry!!!

Hey!

I know im a little late in doing this post and iv been gone ages! been a total night mare I came back from Skegness on the Wednesday, And after that I was really bad for days, Also I got an eye infection so I couldn't wear no make-up at all, I still can't wear eye make-up till it heals, Then when I sat down to blog my internet wouldn't work Then start back to college! Ahhh so its nice to finally be able to sit down with my laptop and blog :)!

Any way here are my lovely August faves :)

Rimmel stay matte powder

Ive had this for months now and it is honestley the best powder i've used so far! Mine is in translucent and it really does stop shine and makes my make-up last so much longer, I've only just hit pan after using this everyday since about July time, Oh and did I mention? Its only £3.99 true bargain :)

Paris Hilton Can Can perfume.

This was a faverouite last summer, I was addicted to it and loved the smell of it, I lost it and started to use my other perfumes, But I found it again and I've fell for it again, Its the most amazing sweet girlie sent I can't describe the smell but like really soft flower vanilla type smell, If you get a chance I highly reccomend you try this perfume it is honestly gorgeous :)!

Benefit Bad Gal lash

I've been using this for the past few months now, and I must say it's not the best mascara in the world but it really does give you a nice natural effect, But to achieve long full lashes you have to apply loaaads of layers, But It does make my lashes look quite nice and curled, Not too dramatic I don't know if I would repurchase this though, I reckon there's much better mascaras for more than half the price!

Natural collection single eye-shadow in milk chocolate

I bought this because I thought it looked awfully similar to the light brown in the sleek storm palette wich I was obsessed with, But there is a difference and iv been turned now, I love this one more, Its such a gorgeous everyday light brown perfect for neutral eyes, These eye shadows are fab they are so soft to touch and just glide on, With the range having no products more expensive than £1.99 this one is a winner!

Sleek ink pot in dominatrix

I bought this a few weeks ago, And I must say I love it, Its so pigmented and looks great on, As a person who struggles with liquid or pencil eyeliner and always looks like shes got black eyes. This is so easy to use as long as you have a good brush to use it with it really is amazing, Amazing price too for £3.99 :)

One of my many birthday presants of my best friend, She came on my blog and looked at my wish-list eee! Scince my birthday I have worn nothing scince, Its such a fun wearable girly colour! Im in love Thanks Bethanie :)!

Now I only bought this not long ago and I am in love with it! It is such a nice bright pink colour But some how extremley wearable! I love rimmel lipsticks and I own so many! This one is definitely my fave one out of the lot as it is completley matte!

This is one of those fab lipsticks they discontinued but every one wants (google rimmel dreamy and you will see what I mean!) , I found this in a clearance section in boyes for like 99p, I love the colour its a really soft coral colour but not too much, Lets just say it really lives up to its name! It is such a dreamy colour :)

Ever since the lovely LauraJaye was kind enough to send me a thank you parcel the other month she included to of these face masks, and ever since then Ives been addicted to them buying one every time I see them in the shop and using them once a week, I just love all the variety and all the different flavours and types they sell, and for cheap too, Often under 99p, My faverouite one so far had to be that gorgeous white chocolate one.. Hiya guys,

Just a quick post to say I won't be posting for the next few days as Im off to Skegness with my Best friend and her family, Im so excited as I've never ever been :D Where going camping so fingers crossed the weather stays nice, I've packed lots of layers just in case!! Im all packed up and I think ive done rather good taking only a few makeup items I use everday!!! *round of applause please!*

Hair of the Day- Curled with straighteners :)

So It was my Best friend Bethanie's 16th birthday party last week, And I was meant to do a post on it but I

forgot to post it and have now lost it! Any way, It was the most amazing party, And every one wave to Bethanie who acctually does read this blog :)!

So I didnt get a picture of what I wore so I thought I would post a picture of my hair :)

I curled it with my straighteners, It took me a looong time but it stayed in all night! and I was soo happy with it as my hair is so hard to curl and just falls out after 5 minutes!! I used my college hair straighteners that are by a brand called hair tools, which are around £15-£20 and are amazing I will do a post on them and some other bits out of my hairdressing kit :)

I got this beauty when I won the lovely Ruth's blog give away (thank you once again!!) , among my parcel which contained some amazing goodies! was this I haven't really tried any soap and glory products before I had the clean Mary face wash which I got in the clearance section for about 50p but never really liked it, so I was so happy to try out this product!

It comes in a huge 300ml pot and Is found in most boots stores or online for an affordable £9.79, This product is a pretty good investment because it will last you along time! Or you can buy a mini 50 ml tub for £2.25 which is great for wanting to try it out!

Soap & Glory The Righteous Body Butter® is smooth, creamy, and velvety. With skin softening Shea butter and aloe Vera to attract moisture, some folks think it's a bit addictive!.

Addictive YES!

I have used this so many times all ready and you can see how much I have used here, I am guilty of using too much when I get products in a tub like these but I can't help it!

Like all body butters are and hence the name "butter" The consistency is quite thick and when massaged in a little goes along way, and sinks into the skin so quickly, Leaving it soft and smelling delicious!

What I like most about this product is the smell, I get so many compliments when I use this like "you smell gorgeous Nicola, what you been using?" I can't describe the smell It contains Shea butter and aloe Vera, It reminds me of like coconut but like fruity coconut if you get me whatever it does smell of I love it and often you ll find me smelling my arm or something breathing in the delicious scent!! and it lasts for so long on your skin !

It leaves my skin so soft, I suffer from dry sensitive skin and this product has been a winner!, I love everything about it!

Hello My Lovelies!!

How are you all? I'm so sorry Ive been such a bad blogger these past few weeks :( Things have been super super hectic for me :)

I was able to do quite alot of shopping as it was my Birthday last week :) I have bought and received so many things this past week I don't know where to start !!

So this is my haul/ Birthday Gifts as some of you requested to see what I got (I am in no way bragging or anything I'm just showing the people who might want to see this!)

sorry they all look a little creased and messy these where all taken straight from out of the shopping bags :)

So a good place to always start is with shoes...

I had a £20 New look gift card that I got on my birthday so I was able to pick up some amazing things in the sale :)

I Looooove these shoes :) I have wanted them for like ever but in pink but they never have my size :( so I got this purpley grey pair, Guess how much they cost me? £1 woo as if you get 3 sale items you get the 3rd for a pound BARGAIN :)

I also picked up this baby pink jacket

I remember I wanted this when It was full price but was now reduced to £8 :) Bargain!

The other sale Item I got was this like sailor type jacket which I have also wanted for a long time! Not sure why it looks massive on the picture but I did have to get it 3 sizes bigger than I am!! as the 8 was a little small and they didn't have a 10-12 so I got a ahem 14 :| but It fits me perfectly yet My pink jacket is a size 8 and is too big if anything! This jacket is definitely not a size 14 as my friend tried it on who is that size and she couldn't even get it on, I think they have been sized wrong :)

I also got this cute dress for my best friends birthday party on Thursday :)! Its by ax Paris and was £10

That all came to £29 and I only had to put £9 to it woo! :)

Sorry I have been so MIA these past few weeks! I have been super busy I will try and get a proper post up within the next few days, I have lots to show you guys quite a big haul and also It's my birthday today finally 17 woo and I just want to say a hugeee thank you for all your sweet birthday messages :)! So Have a cupcake on me :)

Oo I got a cool new phone today for my birthday too

so I can do so many cool things like blog and watch youtube videos and take amazing pictures!! :) Its the samsung Pixon m8800 off my Parents bless them, Its my first touch screen phone so it's a bit ahh! But It's love!! x

So far ive been spoilt, I love my family and friends to bits :) Now im just waiting for the rain to stop so I can go out with my Bestie :)! x

OOTD- A summer wedding :)

Hey all :)

well im back from a hectic few days in Newcastle, We came back a day earlier than we planned to but it's okay :) for all of you who proberbley won't know I went there for a few days for a wedding, We had a lovely time :) It was requested that I did a OOTD, so that's what im doing now :) I've not been in that long, I was so excited to catch up with you guys :)

So, Like my title says, It was a Summer wedding, yes because it's August it should be sunny right, Wrong not in England it was cold and rained :) Nice one! it was a lovely day though regardless and everyone especially the gorgeous bride looked stunning :)

So here is what I wore :)

Necklace. Last minute buy on the way, Charity shop £1,, I broke it though! :(

I really wasnt sure about this dress, But I love it and at first I was like ahh! Ive never worn such a short dress but I felt so comfortable in it :)

Heres a little poser snap in the toilets haha, I kept my hair straight as I was so busy on the morning as we had to stay over at the brides house, and it was crazy with all the children, My hair is so hard to curl it would have fell out any way!!

I kept my make up rather neutral and I used my revlon colour stay, Amazing stuff, after the hectic day and all my crazy dancing on that dance floor, (wild child) When we got back at like 1am My makeup still looked exactly like it did when I applied it! Amazing!!

Over all it was a great day It was at Newcastle Race course, and Had the most amazing Roast dinner I have ever tasted and then dessert was chocolate profiteroles with berries,, Which I don't like but it looked so yummy! then a big buffet on the night, Nom Nom !

Any hows Im babbilng, So I hope you enjoyed this post, I also went shopping in Newcastle too so I will have a haul up tomorrow hopefully :)

Sorry I haven't did anyposts these past few days Just, I have been extremely busy and probably won't get to post again till at least Sunday, as Im going away tomorow for a few days for a wedding :) x

Scary bright lipsticks.. Not so scary any more :)

Hey :)

So I wanted to do a post on bright lipsticks. As you all know I really prefer the "natural" and slightly "nude" lips, And have always been slightly horrified by the thought of a really bright lipstick! But now with the tip I'm going to show you.. Its not as scary at all!

So.. These are the two bright lipsticks I'm going to be talking about today :)

The first one is 17 Pink chiffon-
A shimmery hot pink which I have had for so long!

and the second.. Collection 2000 bubble gum-
A real bright barbie bubble gum shade! (I only bought this yesterday!)

I'm guessing you can guess which one is which by now ha ha the first one is bubble gum and the second is pink chiffon.. Both amazingly bright pigmented colours.

The life saver

Gosh Darling..
You can tell that I absolutely love this lipstick! I haven't had it that long and I've used so much already!

(or you can use any other similar lipstick that is really nude but I really recommend this one it's amazing :) )

So firstly..

Apply gosh darling to your lips this lipstick is perfect to tone down bright lip colours :)

Secondly

Take your bright colour lipstick and gently pat it in your lips just press the lipstick onto the lips a few times, and create a gorgeous nude lipstick..

In this case baby pink!

Thirdly..

Every time you do your lipstick like this.. Try and add a little more and more of your bright lipstick colour so that you get used to it and it's not a huge difference..

And..

Before you know it you'll be applying the lipstick to its true colour!

. Honestly I've been doing this for a few weeks now and I am in love with bright lipsticks now they are not scary at all!!

In fact yesterday I bought..

The brightest pink colour i have ever seen! Total barbie!

I applied it on the train I was to excited, I applied a dab of darling and I was like nope I want the full colour so I wiped it off and I applied it to my bare lips and ooh my I fell in love with it! It's not half as a scary colour that I thought it would be!

This picture is really blurry and still doesn't show the exact colour. But it was the best picture :)

I hardly have no make-up on here real natural look no eye-shadow and a bright lip.. Ignore it's terrible but I just wanted to show you how nice it looks on :)

Woo Blog sale bargins!

Hello!!

So about a week ago I orded some things of a blog sale.. I recieved them the other day and I must say postage was amazing! she sent them on the monday and I recieved them on Tuesday!

So I noticed that the lovely Abbey was having a really great blog sale.. Ive never bought things from a blog sale before I deffo will again there such a great invention! So Thanks Abbie :)

Heres my little loot :)

Everything was £1 which is just amazing! so I picked up 3 things and all in all cost me £4.50 with delevery!

Amazing!

So the first thing I picked was this La Femme baked bronzer..

Ive always wanted to try a baked bronzer but they are usually on the pricey side so I had to get this! The shade is in number 4 I have never heard of this brand before but it is really quite nice :)

As you can see from the picture it had a rough ride in the post the packaging cracked! I could hear something ratteling and I thought oh no I was expecting a big mess so I was so releived to find the bronzer all intact and pretty! Phewww!

Collection 2000 lasting perfection foundation

I love buying and trying new foundations.. and I have been wanting to try this, There is still heaps of product left well over half. I bought this mainly because I thought At £1 its perfect to try and test out and do a review!

First impressions.. Its good but really werid its got a great coverage but the texture is so werid it's nothing like my other foundations at all, But Ive only used this once so far so ill give it a good test out and do a review for you!

The last thing I got was a barry m fine glitter dust..

I didnt even know what colour it was haha just had to have it for a pound!, Was like a surprise Its a real pretty green with gold glitter.. Don't know how I will use this but never mind :) It's pretty and nice to look at! :) and I do love green

She also included some lovely samples and a note :) really sweet

So a big thank you to abbie, I am really happy with my items!

It was like I'd found treasure- Sleek I-divine storm palette :)

Hello!!

I am officially sooo happy, I went shopping yesterday with my lovely Mam and Nanna, A little bit further than my Town but still quite near me.. Untill now the only places near me that I have seen sleek was about an hour away? so you can imagine my excitement when I spotted a shiny new sleek counter in superdrug :) :) So now I only have to go on 2 short bus journeys to get my sleek!! :)

So untill now the only sleek products I have is 4 of there nail pastels which I won.. Thanks sleek :)!

So as soon as I saw sleek I grabbed the thing that was on top of my wish list! The storm palette and ran straight to the till and bought it :)

And boy am I glad I did!

Lets just take a few minutes to admire its beauty!

This palette is amazing because it contains everyday neutral colours and then deeper ones so if you popped this in your handbag whilst at work you could easily transform your eyes from "day to night"

Im speechless! Ive always wanted to try this ah thank you so much.. The brush is reallly really big! which is really impressive I used this yesterday and oh my its amazing! I said im not going to open this yet as I have way to many mascaras open atm.. But did that happen no! as soon as I got it I opened it and used it! I can't wait to use this more :)

Celia Birtwell Compact Mirror

This has got to be the best compact mirror I have ever seen.. The detailing on it is gorgeous! Ive never seen this brand before but I beleive you can get it in boots :) Its sooo pretty!

3 Boujours eyeshadows..

As you all proberbley know I love nude eyeshadows and are what I mainly use.. So im super super happy with these the colours are gorgeous! when I first seen these on Ruth's giveaway the way they'd been pictured they looked like little chocolate truffles! so when I opened it and found they where infact eyeshadows I was blown away!

My make up stash part 1.. Foundations, concelers and powders :)

So It has been requested quite alot of times that I should do a make up collection post, Ive sort of put it off till now, I don't want to make it seem like I am bragging because I am not my make-up stash is nothing compared to some of the make up collections you see but it is far to much for me! so I thought I could show you and then you can see what I own so you can then ask me to do reviews :)

So im not going to include how I store my make-up yet because at the minute it consists of using three little poundland drawers, a cup and the tin that the cup came in ooh and a mug for my brushes.. amazing how things have there uses!

Hello my lovley readers !

So a week or so ago I posted my haul which had two of my first lush purchases in it, Creamy candy bubble bar and think pink bath ballistic, A few of you where interested in how I found them, well here you have it my first lush expeirence!

Todays post is about the creamy candy bubble bar,

(If you havent allready guessed by the title!)

Isn't it pretty?

So I got 2 uses out of this bubble bar, The first I wasnt that happy with it if im honest, I used a bit of both and it turned out to be a disaster! but yesterday I used this on its own and ohh my its amazing!

So I cut this product in half but it just crumbles every where, so I then took half of it and crumbled it into the bath.

The result was bubble heaven!

The bubbles lasted the full length of the bath Im not sure how long I lost track of time but well over half an hour I did not want to get out and was a bit saddend when I had to pull out the plug!

Afterwards I felt soo pampered and relaxed! the smell just lingers on you and in the bathroom for hours after and makes my skin so soft !

My dad being my dad wasn't happy with the smell of the bathroom (he resorts to lush as that smelly shop in town) Men! But my mum really loved it and now wants me to go get her one!

I can still smell it faintly on my skin the next day (I used this early last night), and in my hair which is weird as I didn't even wash my hair? oh well Im not complaining it smells amazing!

I also had a great nights sleep to! I am in love with this product now!

At the price of £2.35 it's not for every day but perfect for a real treat! I know im picking up another one when im next in town and one for my mum too :)

So ill have my think pink bath ballistic post up soon but at the minute its making my room smell amazing! so I don't know when Ill use the rest of that!

Sleek nailed polish in 20 pastel pink

Sorry for the messy nails this was really rushed and I have to add my nails don't actually look half as bad in real life, Think its just a bad photo :)

Absoulutley gorgeous colour and a dream to apply needed 1 coat and then an extra one just to add the icing on the cake and voila nails that look fab and colour that lasts for days amazing for the price these cost around £3 !!

So you might remember a few weeks back I won a sleek competition where I won 4 of there new nailed polishes well i've tried 3 of them up to now, and ill try the other one out after this and then do a full reveiw, so far these are amazing!

Off to go eat some of my nephews birthday cake now ;)

Hello lovliess!!

Today has been one busy day and I am sooo tired! I barely even have the energy to type this post! I was minding my 2 year old this morning who spilt a bit of her drink on my laptop so I have been panicking all day but it seems to be working perfectly thank goodness, I've only had it a few months !! Then I went shopping and picked up these lovelies, went home got ready went to my Nannas then went to my cousins baby shower which was really fun :) I won a few things on the tombola so ill show you them later, I have walked every where today!! I had an amazing day though.. Sorry that im babbling im just really tired and this will proberbley not even make sense but okay haha

so essay over.. onto the haul!!

I popped into lush and bought these beauties my first ever lush haul!!

Creamy candy bubble bar £2.35

I can't acctually believe how pricey that shop is! I had a great first experience shopping there though and the staff where so friendly, I didnt even dare pick anything up at first in case I broke something but the women working there was like pick it up and have a smell!! Haha :)

They both smell amazing and they both look amazing pink Im going to go put these to good use after I've finished this :) Well deserved I think!

Boots Revlon colour stay!!

After reading so many amazing reviews on this I finally got it!!!!

This was £11.99 and I have to admit the most I've ever spent on a product! But I used it before I went out to the baby shower and hours later is still intact looking like it did when I applied it, Amazing! (can you tell I really like the word amazing?!) even with the dodgy boots lights and standing swatching the shades on my face for about half an hour, I came out with foundation patches all over my face and 180 sand beige worth it though it matches my skin like a dream!!

River Island!!

A-h-h-m-a-z-i-n-g sale!

The jewellery I got where all £1 each and the models own polish was £2 in the shade sterling silver!

They also had loads of amazing sunglasses for £2.50 I choose the pair I liked which wasn't easy when you have a hand full of bags and my purchases and no mirrors so I had to walk across the store each time to try them on!! that with the fiddily pouches you have to open! ( get baskets and mirrors RI!) So I finally found a pair I liked so I went to buy them and the cashire basically accused me of swapping them about and these where actually full price the cheeky thing !! I think she just couldnt be bothered typing the number into the till. I really didn't have the patience to find some others I sadly left without any :(

Nude pink head band £5 oops I would never pay that much for a primark head band I mean £1.50 Haha

SOPHIE KINSELLA SHOPAHOLIC ABROAD WOOOO!

Honestly you will never understand how much I have searched for this damn thing over about the past year, in every book store and charity shop and jumble sale market thingies but it could never be found I own every book of hers apart from this and My Nanna found it for me at a car boot sale for 50p I love you Nanna!!!!! :)

So Im off to have a luscious bath and have an early night reading my book ! :D

FOTD experimenting with eyeshadows- Purple look.

Hello you gorgeous people :)

Im sorry for the lack of posts recentley Ive been super busy!

So yesterday I was bored so I decided to have a play about with my make-up and I tried a few swatces and I did like a little swatch on my hand and It turned out like this...

I think I was in a bit of a purple mood! I had purple nails and a purple top on ! I really liked how it looked so I went ahead and tried it on my eyes, If you read my blog you will know Im just really getting into eyeshadow and im rubbish at it and usually stick to nudes but Im getting better at it now!

So this is how it turned out, I toned it down abit than I did on my hand as I was going out and it was only morning so no glitter eyeliner and really dark eyes I do have eyeliner on just lightly but I was really happy with how it looked as I usually make a right mess and end up looking like coco the clown or something but I even wore it out all day wich is a huge shock horror!

Heres a little FODT this was just a quick photo I took I sorry for the casual hair in pony tail look but I hadn't even finished getting ready!

Mystery nail polish!

Hey !

So I was doing a bit of tidying up today amongst all the other usual rubbish I found, I found this in a random box!

A full size red O.P.I nail varnish, I have never seen this in my life I don't own any O.P.I nail varnishes, Im the only one in this house who uses nail varnish so I've asked my Mam, my Sister and even my Dad (you never know it might of been his Haha) and they haven't seen it before and they all said its yours isn't it?

It's definitely not mine! the only thing I can think of is that my family have a habit of buying things just because there cheap (I think Thats where I get my shopping habits from! ) so probabley picked it up for a couple of pence years ago!

It doesnt have a shade on it but its just a red im guessing it will proberbley a classic one! I don't even know wether it is real or not as ive never had a real one :/ But oh well !

So yeah thats the story of the mystery opi polish! Have you found anything like this before?!

So yesterday I went shopping with my lovely parents and I picked up a few things, I don't have that much money at the minute as I need a job but I still have a few weeks left of EMA money and then im due my EMA bonous, But as always it was the whole "im not going to buy anything" can't resist a good bargain!

So first up.....

I used the mousse one all last summer and a few months ago I bought the mist wich I just don't like as it makes a mess so I went back to the mousse this was from savers and was £2.99

I love the Playboy make up range and used to buy from it all the time! They have the best lipglosses ever and my fave blush is from them also! Alot of people may think they are chavvy but I love this range and soon you won't be able to buy it any more :(

I got

The duo bronzer in summerland this was £1.99

And the lipgloss in Hefs faveroite to add to my collection I have 6 of these now! :) They all smell amazing like candy floss and strawberries and cream etc and feel so good on your lips and has such amazing packaging this was £1.49 I have paid much much more for these!

Two books from PDSA charity shops!

I love charity shops im always in there looking at there books I love reading and I never pay full price for books! I love looking in charity shops as you never know what you might find after all "one persons rubbish is another persons tresure" .

A book that has three different stories in them, from the readers digest

and Sophie Kinsellas twenties girl I have read this but I borrowed it from a friend and I have all her books so I needed this one to complete my collection :)

Hey lovlies!

so you might remember the post I did about a lipstick the other day called foxy?

They look like this..

(the four I have foxy, honey hone, glam and clear.)

Well many of you said that you have never seen these before and never heard of them, Well now I know the reason :( Ive had these for a few months and I thought you could still buy them but I when I was out shopping yesterday I found out that un fortunately they have discontinued these :( cry cry!

But.. There is some good news. I did see some of them in places like Boyes, Poundland & Tjuges etc for around £1-2, and I also noticed that online they sell loads of these for around the same price on discount stores and ebay so they arent totally lost but Im saddend because I wanted to buy some more :(

So Im sorry for posting about it because I didn't know they where discontinued :(

Hope you have had an amazing weekend ! Just about to take the pictures for my next haul I bought yesterday.. Guess what?! Yep you know me too well more bargains ;)
